The River Estate Press
The cold press olive oil extraction plant was imported
from Italy in 2001 from the Enorossi factory in Umbertide,
Umbria, Italy and installed in our purpose built press
house facility. Bottling and storage facilities have
also been incorporated in the building design.
The plant consists of washers, deleafers, elevators,
crushing mill with double chamber mixer and a horizontal
decanter (centrifuge). The plant is constructed from
food grade stainless steel.
The plant can be operated 24 hours.
Contract Processing
River Estate carries out contract
pressing for other growers in the region, as we are
the only approved facility in the Manukau and Auckland
region.
The
processing time is usually from mid- April to June/July,
dependant on the season. If you would like to contact

Processing for external customers
is also performed by Wells Grove Estate Ltd at our Grove
location in Wades Rd, Whitford. Bookings are essential
to ensure that the olives are processed as soon as possible
after delivery. Minimum quantity is 400-500 kgs.
